Spinning is one of the most popular classes in the gym and for good reason. It is ideal for toning thighs, bum, calves and can even train core if you work hard enough. It has a huge energy output which is great for weight loss but can also be done with very little coordination or with very light resistance for those people new to spinning. The ability for both new and experienced people to enjoy the same spin class and both get a good workout is all part of the attraction.
